If you broke it then you are responsible to replace the window if you can’t get it to match then you must replace the entire window. Your negligence your expense, sorry. If it were your house and your window you’d want it to match.

yes, it does. if this was your home, would you want someone replacing the glass with some bargain basement subsitute. i know that it was an accident, but unfortunately "sorry" doesn't get this person a new window.

Yes, you want the door to look decent. You may be able to have a piece crafted, do not assume you need tempered glass, you usually do not on a framed door. If you are within 5 feet of stairs, yes, but otherwise check.

If it was yours, is that the way you would want it? Of course it is right! Someone worked hard to pay for everything in the house you are renting. They don't expect to get it back in worse condition than they gave it to you. Fix it properly. It is the right thing.
