can a real estate broker also be an agent ?
October 22nd, 2009 | by admin |i know to you that it may sound like a stupid question but i just realized that i wanna be a real estate agent . im trying to learn every thing i can about realestate while im still in my teenage years thanx
Not a stupid question at all. Yes, in many states the broker can act as a buyer or seller’s agent. In fact, think of a broker as being qualified by the state to represent clients on the purchase and the sale of property along with the ability to also manage other agents and review contracts.

Some states have Real Estate Brokers only and other states have brokers and agents. In Colorado, we have only brokers, but many people can themselves agents, because it’s easier for the public to understand.

You need to list your state.
It will be different in every single state. Nobody can answer this question without knowing your state.

In Oregon, there are only brokers and principal brokers.
If you want to learn about the business, get a part-time job being a Realtors assistant. You will learn alot.
Good luck to you!
